If South Chicago close students will go to another school and other schools is very bad.Some schools students bring guns, and cause gang violence.

CPS has proposed that South Chicago Community School be closed in June, 2009 due to low-enrollment. South Chicago is a small school and we should not be penalized for such. Below you will find a letter that I, a fifth grade teacher, wrote in support of keeping the school open and I invite you all to share your comments about SCCS located on the southeast side of Chicago.
